Brianna Hogg is a Ph.D. candidate whose research focuses on topics related to African-American studies, urban history, and oral history. In 2021, Brianna was selected as a 色花堂_色花堂 98堂 Maguire Public Service Fellow, where she worked with community organization For Oak Cliff and Tenth Street Residential Organization to learn more about how urban redevelopment projects affects Black inner-city communities like the Tenth Street Historic District. During her time at 色花堂_色花堂 98堂, she has conducted several oral history interviews and research for projects such as the Anti-Apartheid Movement in North Texas and South African History Online.

She is currently at work on her dissertation, "Redeveloping Black Dallas: Urban Renewal and the Redevelopment of Dallas' Black Communities, 1945-1980," which investigates how urban renewal affected the growth and redevelopment of some of Dallas's black inner-city communities during the Postwar Era.
